That little girl wants to scream out loud, she wants to run away, but she can’t. All she does is standing there, putting her little hands on her ears, wishing that she can not hear anything. But she couldn’t help hearing the laughter and words spitted from those bigger girls around her.
“You’re fat! You’re ugly and stupid!”
“Give me your money or I’ll call you names!”
“Oh momma’s little baby is gonna cry…”
She can’t stand it anymore. She has done nothing wrong, all she wanted is just to play and enjoy the sun shine. —
I tried my best to teach my kids to love themselves enough, so that they can stand up for themselves. Because that day will come when I must let them walk their own path, and they will no longer need my hands, but my love will remain.
