If you can go to three places in the whole world, where would you go? Mine would be:

Lake Bled, Slovenia
Ringed by hiking trails along its perimeter, accented by an idyllic church on the forested little island at its center, and nestled snugly in the foothills of the Julian Alps, words can’t quite do justice to the magical setting of Lake Bled in Slovenia. The lake is 35 km from Ljubljana International Airport and 55 km from the capital city, Ljubljana. Cute fact: Trip Advisor listed 3 activities to do here, namely: biking, hiking and getting married! Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia
This is considered to be one of the most beautiful natural sights in Europe. For 11 exhilarating miles, you can follow well-worn walking paths and footbridges around 16 turquoise lakes and waterfalls at the unspoiled Plitvice Lakes. A complete run through the park can be done on trail H in 4-5 hours, so we’d better be there early! Despite the amazingly beautiful lake, swimming is not permitted anywhere in this park. Oh well, taking a lot of photos would be just fine (and fun) for me 🙂 Photo: Shutterstock

Buda Castle, Budapest, Hungary
Well, I went there back in 2006 and it’s so magical that I want to go there again. Buda Castle is the historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings in Budapest, first completed in 1265. It is huge but manageable to go around on foot, especially on a nice summer day. I’d say that you’d better come here with your better half, unless you’re planning to find one here. Photo: I took it.
